Another Reminder To Keep Your Sales Pipeline Full!

I have a technology client that does $20M in revenue.

A press release went out recently that a $3B company expressed a non-binding intent to acquire my client.

Happens all the time.

Connect 5000 will probably lose this client once the merger becomes official.

It’s another reminder to never get comfortable no matter how many clients you have.

Companies go out of business, executive changes happen, companies get bought, etc.

Always be prospecting for new business because you can lose an account and it’s not even your fault.

There are too many factors beyond anyone’s control that can cause you to lose a client.

It’s a fact of life.

I’m reminded of this quote by Mark Cuban: “The only thing any entrepreneur, salesperson, or anyone in any position can control is their effort.”

I can’t control the weather, economy, companies or executives: I can ONLY control the number of seeds I plant and amount of sales calls I make daily.
