$27M in New Revenue: One Sales Call
We generated a sales call for a client that resulted in a $27M new contract 7 months later.
Connect 5000 placed a call on behalf of Genpact to Dollar General’s CIO. His executive assistant directed us to the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure and Architecture. We called and set up a conference call for 2 weeks later.
The timing of the call was perfect. Dollar General was growing rather quickly and planned to open 600 plus stores per year for the next 4 years. Their Help Desk handled 65,000 incidents per month and that figure would rise with additional new stores opening.
Two weeks later, Genpact’s Vice President of Sales met face to face with their Director in Tennessee. 7 months later, Genpact was chosen over 3 other companies as the provider.
